Swimming lessons for Children & Adults in Kidderminster, Worcestershire, for beginner or improver

Neptune is a caring family run swimschool fully owned and operated by Tracy Darkes. Neptune Learn to Swim prides itself on providing quality swimming tuition. Children are taken from 3 years of age for group lessons or younger if attending the adult and child class. All the lessons are taught by fully qualified Amateur Swimming Association teachers who also hold the National Rescue test for swimming teachers and coaches. Neptune teachers work in the water with the children until they reach at least NPTS Level 3. This encourages participation and inspires confidence in the children. Teachers also work in the water with adult beginners. All teachers undertake a CRB Disclosure. Neptune Learn to Swim is fully compliant with the ASAs child protection procedures and totally committed to the principles and practice of equal opportunities. We are fully insured with Perkins Slade.

Lessons are taken in small groups.
Our non-swimmers classes are kept to a manageable size.
Our different groups are flexible, which allows movement from classes as they improve.
ASA instructors assist in the water.
Teachers are Patient and Friendly.
We continually update our knowledge by attending seminars and courses run by the ISTC/ASA.

About the National Plan For Teaching Swimming:
The NPTS has been developed by the ASA to provide a template for learn to swim schemes. It has been designed to assist qualified teachers whose own experience and training will enhance the implementation of the plan. The NPTS is a comprehensive, integrated, progressive teaching programme based upon sound technical and educational principles and provides a standard reference for those responsible for planning swimming programmes.
